Bhangra fever takes hold at Training Connect

Semida Haji, Training Connect’s academic director, and other members of her team were at the Holiday Inn in Brentford on 17 May for the press launch of the UK Bhangra Music Awards (UKBMA) 2011. Many leading lights of the UK Asian Music scene were on hand to lend a touch of true star quality.
Presiding genius Pam Suri, director of Saregama Music and Dance Academy, welcomed sponsors and journalists for a special sneak preview of some of the delights awaiting guests at this year’s event, which takes place on September 11th at the prestigious Indigo 02 Arena.
“Organising an event on this scale would be a major undertaking for anyone,” said Semida Haji, “and the media spotlight is certain to be intense. But we have every faith Pam will pull it off with her usual flamboyant style! We wish her and all of those involved every best wish for a brilliantly successful event. We are certainly looking forward to it.”

ta na na na na na na na ta na na na na na na na VAT man

With the Festive period over and the New Year finally set in, many are finding prices for everyday goods like food and petrol increased, the hike in VAT has seen an enormous pressure on the purse strings of everyday people. To top this the cuts by the government and grants and benefits available are all slowly diminishing.

You'll be glad to know that as a provider or ESOL, IESOL, and Work Permits we have not added vat to any of our courses and so you can still continue to benefit from a pay once policy from as little as £200
